On December 16, the UNCG men’s basketball traveled to NC State and defeated the Wolfpack 81-76. Prior to the game, the Spartans were 2-59 all time against teams of the ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference) and 0-10 against the NC State Wolfpack. Not to be outdone, five days later, the Wofford Terriers defeated the UNC Tar Heels 79-75. When the two Southern Conference teams met up, the Spartans defeated Wofford 71-65.
