When the Oakland Raiders won Super Bowl XVIII in 1984, the NFC went on a 12 Super Bowl winning-streak. Out of the 12 games, only two of the Super Bowls were one score games.
The streak would be broken in 1997 when Terrell Davis ran for three touchdowns and led the Denver Broncos to a 31-24 upset victory over regular season MVP Brett Favre and the defending champion Green Bay Packers.
