Millennial Moment

Baby, Baby, Baby, Noooo…

Warning all Beliebers: sensitive content ahead. That’s right, today’s topic is none other than the finally pubescent, Justin Bieber!

From his shining YouTube discovery to now, I have never been a fan. Bieber has been breaking hearts since 2009, but the only emotion I obtain from him is frustration.

His songs never fail to become the next low-quality, pop hits that I cannot get out of my head.

Bieber, you’re putting me in a tough spot; soon after I exclaim my hatred for his over discussed public image and generic lyrics, my friends might catch me — not so low-key — singing every single word to “What Do You Mean?”

The first issue I have with Bieber? Well, many twelve-year-old boys were rocking the glorified bowl haircut far before Justin Bieber came along.

Why does he get all the credit? It takes a lot more than a dirty blonde head of hair using nice shampoo to win me over — sorry, Biebs.

As we all know, you cannot believe everything we hear from “E News” or rag magazines, but let us not forget that Bieber has been the suspect of several drunk-driving instances over the years.

I get that you can go out and buy a new yellow Lamborghini tomorrow, Justin, but the rest of us value our lives and others’. The worst part of this was his grim, smiling, mug shot. Seriously?

There was a short period of time when I thought Justin Bieber was a complete has-been and people were finally over his supposedly good looks and Bieber-ish musical tendencies.

But, unfortunately, he has made a successful come back; not only as a musician, oh no, but also as a Calvin Klein model. Bieber, last time I checked, you weren’t Kendall Jenner, so put your shirt back on and keep singing “If I was Your Boyfriend,”

Even worse than having a modeling career handed his way, Justin has landed a role as Paul Walker’s “replacement” in the newest “Fast and Furious” movie.

Can someone tell me what Justin Bieber has done to deserve a huge acting role in one of the most successful movie series ever made?

I’ll tell you: nothing! He is no comparison to Paul Walker; I’d love to ask Vin Diesel what he thinks about this decision.

Sadly, yet again, my opinion has no affect on what society makes popular and famous.

As much as I’ve hated on Bieber, I am sure I will soon be reciting “Never Say Never” word for word if it comes on the radio.
