Following week 2 of the NFL Season in 1982, the players went on a 57 day strike that forced the league to cancel all games between weeks 3-9. Only nine total games were played. In those nine games, Washington Redskins kicker Mark Moseley made 20 out of his 21 field goal attempts for a record 95.2 success percentage. Moseley also helped the Redskins win their first Super Bowl that season.
