The Greensboro Swarm had an up and down week finishing 1-2 this past week. The Swarm began their 3 game road trip with a heartbreaking two point loss to the Lakeland Magic (G-League affiliate of the Orlando Magic) 114-116. The Swarm followed that with a 10 point loss to the Maine Red Claws (G-League affiliate of the Boston Celtics) on Thursday by a final of 100-110. The Swarm were able to finish their road trip with a victory against the Canton Charge(G-League affiliate of the Cleveland Cavaliers) by a score of 106-99.

Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan made a statement last Friday stating that he would only trade All-Star point guard Kemba Walker for another All-Star. This statement effectively quieted most of the trade rumors surrounding Walker as it is highly unlikely that we could receive such level of compensation in exchange for him. Jordan believes that the Hornets can still compete in the playoffs as the team currently sits as the No. 11 seed and are 5.5 games behind the Milwaukee Bucks who currently holds the last playoff spot.
