Your weekly sports trivia.
This past week, it was announced that Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, Grant Hill and Maurice “Mo” Cheeks were selected to be enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame. In 1995, Hill and Kidd became the only players to be named Co-Rookie of the Year. Two years later, Kidd, playing for the Dallas Mavericks, was traded to the Phoenix Suns. The Suns also happen to have Steve Nash on their roster. Nash and Kidd were teammates for two seasons, leading Phoenix to two post-season appearances before Nash was traded to Kidd’s old team, the Mavericks. After 19 seasons each, Hill and Kidd retired from the NBA. Ironically, their announcements came within days of each other.
