I Finally Got Birthday Freebies, and Here’s How It Went

If you’ve never gotten freebies for your birthday, you’re missing out. Who doesn’t love free, especially on your birthday? Many forget that most places provide birthday rewards. Don’t be like them. Instead, let me help you score some free treats.

I decided to drive around to my favorite places and pick up my birthday rewards. If they have an app, nine times out of ten, they have a rewards program. Remember, after you download an app, make sure you’re a part of the birthday club. That’s how they trick you. You have the app and an account but may not fully sign up for the birthday freebies.

Here’s a list of the places I went to and the freebies I recieved:

  • Krispy Kreme (A dozen donuts)
  • Starbucks (Any drink, any size)
  • Buffalo Wild Wings (6 wings, any flavor)
  • Firehouse Subs (Any medium sub)
  • Sephora (Skincare, Makeup, or Body care)
  • Bath and Body Works (Free item up to $7.50)
  • Denny’s (Free breakfast)

Other places that offer rewards:

  • Chick-fil-A (Rewards vary)
  • Crumbl Cookies (Free Cookie)
  • Cold Stone (BOGO Ice Cream)
  • Dunkin’ Donuts (Free drink)
  • IHOP (Free stack of pancakes)
  • Victoria’s Secret (Rewards vary)

There are so many more places that offer rewards. Just look on their app or find more lists of locations on Google.

All of the places I went to were very nice and helpful. No location I went to gave me issues or denied my reward. I received my prize as long as I had the app and was enrolled in the birthday program. I also wanted to go to Chick-fil-A and Crumbl Cookies (one I was most excited for), but unfortunately, I wasn’t fully signed up for their birthday programs. Nonetheless, it was a pretty stressless and fun experience.

I wouldn’t do this every year, but it was worth it. I’m so shocked to find out that many people don’t take advantage of these rewards programs. It can be kind of awkward at first to ask employees about a free birthday gift, but with time, it becomes easier. I ate completely free the day of my birthday and the day after. It does take a lot of time depending on the proximity of the stores, but if you’re like me and your birthday is during the week, and you have no plans until the weekend, it works out. Another good thing is that most rewards don’t expire on your birthday. You might have up to a week or even a whole month to use them.

What’s stopping me from making an account and submitting a fake birthday? Nothing. Freebies feel more special and rewarding on your actual birthday, but who am I to tell you what to do?

I enjoyed my birthday so much this year because of my freebies! Although this isn’t something I’d do every year, I will do it again in the future and encourage others to do so. Happy birthday!
